Along with the wristbands, the cafe racer back controls are an essential part of turning a motorcycle into a cafe racer.

The cafe racer back controls are located further back and higher than the stock footpegs, allowing the rider to adopt a more aggressive and sporty riding position.

The cafe racer style originated in the United Kingdom in the 1950s and 1960s and was popularized by young riders who wanted to modify their bikes for speed and style. Cafe racers generally have a stripped-down look, with low handlebars, a hulking seat and minimal bodywork. They are known for their agile handling and quick acceleration.

Adding cafe racer back controls to a motorcycle allows the rider to shift their weight forward, which can improve the bike's handling and maneuverability. However, it can also make the riding position more uncomfortable, as the rider's legs are positioned higher and further back than on a standard motorcycle in true cafe racer fashion.

The cafe racer remote controls offered here are made of 6061 aluminum. They have non-slip footrests and rubber lever tips to avoid damaging shoes.

How to install remote controls on your motorcycle?

    1. Remove the original controls and brackets.
    2. Plan the position of the remote controls.
    3. Make a plan of the support plates. The remote controls will be fixed on these plates.
    4. The original locations are usually used.
    5. Define the length of the connecting rods. The connecting rods are the link between the rear controls and the engine to operate the gear shift, as well as the rear master cylinder for braking.
    6. To carry out the plate. It can be a simple plate drilled and cut out of steel of 5mm.
    7. Install the assembly.
    8. Test and adjust.

We can make for you the plates and provide you with the connecting rods. For that, make a plan and contact us.
