TRIUMPH 400 Series O2 Sensor Eliminator – ECU Error Code Fix

Eliminate oxygen-related warnings after removing or disabling the O2 sensor

Specifically designed for the TRIUMPH 400 platform, this O2 sensor eliminator prevents the appearance of O2 error codes when the stock sensor has been replaced, unplugged, or neutralized. Thanks to an OEM-style connector and tailored calibration, it sends the engine ECU a stable signal, avoiding unwanted check-engine lights and limp mode.

Installation is plug & play: disconnect the stock sensor plug and simply insert the emulator in its place. No wires to cut, no map to load. The setup is fully reversible, making it easy to return to stock if needed.

Important: if a code is already stored in the ECU, it must be cleared before the emulator can operate correctly. Also follow the usage restrictions below to ensure compatibility and durability.

    Compatibility for TRIUMPH 400cc:

    • Speed 400

    • Scrambler 400X

    • Thruxton 400

    • Tracker 400

    Technical specifications:

    • 🛠 Type: Emulator box/O2 lambda sensor eliminator

    • 🔌 Connection: Plug & play on the stock sensor connector (no cutting)

    • 📦 Format: Compact, fits easily under the tank or behind the fairings

    • 💧 Protection: Sealed connector, insulating sleeves for strong splash resistance

    • ⚙️ ECU compatibility: Designed to prevent DTCs caused by a missing O2 signal

    • 🔁 Reversibility: Simple removal to return to stock configuration

    • 🧩 Variants: Versions A/B/C/D available depending on your setup (short line/collector or stock front section)

    • 📋 Instructions: Pre-check fault codes and clear them via a diagnostic tool is recommended

    • ⚠️ Restriction: Do not use with an exhaust from another brand. Any malfunction due to improper use is not covered by the warranty.

    Advantages over stock:

✔ Prevents the check-engine light after removing or neutralizing the O2 sensor
✔ Avoids limp mode and fueling disturbances
✔ Quick install with no ECU reflash or harness modification
✔ Stable simulated signal for smoother riding
✔ Reversible setup to return to stock in minutes
✔ Engineered for the 400 platform

    Why upgrade the stock part?

When the original lambda sensor is removed or disabled, the ECU no longer receives the expected signal. It then generates a fault code, turns on the warning light, and can upset fuel management (rough mixture, unstable idle, jerky feel). Riding comfort suffers, and repeatedly clearing the code becomes inconvenient.

    • Check-engine light on and persistent O2 codes

    • Risk of limp mode and reduced smoothness

    • Irregular idle and softer roll-on

    • Needless complexity if you switch configurations

The O2 sensor eliminator solves these issues by simulating a consistent signal for the ECU. Result: no oxygen-related DTC, no warning light, and smooth engine management when the sensor is absent or neutralized. It’s a simple, clean, and reversible solution—ideal for specific setups and temporary adjustments.

    Ideal use cases:

    • Owners of Triumph 400 wishing to remove or neutralize the O2 sensor

    • Road, urban, scrambler, or tracker builds requiring the absence of the lambda sensor

    • Users who want to avoid fault codes and keep smooth drivability

    • Mechanics and workshops seeking a fast, plug & play, and reversible solution

Important note: before installation, clear any error codes already stored in the ECU. Strictly follow the usage restriction: do not use with an exhaust from another brand. If not respected, any malfunction will not be covered by the warranty.
