This aftermarket rider seat fits BMW R 18 (all model-years). It has been static-load tested to 250 kg / 551 lb (2.5 × reference rider mass). Seat height is about +15 mm / +0.6 in above the OEM seat and may alter flat-foot reach and low-speed balance.

Mounting hardware	Pan is supplied with three factory-installed studs and nyloc nuts. Tighten each nut only until the pan is fully seated and the nyloc ring is engaged. (Typical torque: M6 nyloc 9 N·m / 80 lbf·in — confirm thread size before tightening) Re-check torque after the first 80 km / 50 mi.
Frame compatibility	Uses the original BMW front tongue and rear mounting plates — no drilling or welding required.
Electrical	None. This seat contains no wiring, sensors or heating elements.
Flammability	Vinyl & foam comply with ISO 3795 / FMVSS 302.
Regulatory advice	UK / EU — seat replacement is generally unrestricted; ensure the motorcycle still meets noise & emission standards. USA — check that the bike remains fully controllable; single-seat certification is unaffected. Australia (ADR / VSB 14) — because OEM anchor points are used, engineering sign-off is normally not required; confirm with your state authority if unsure.
Maximum rider mass	≤ 125 kg / 275 lb. Exceeding this limit voids warranty and may cause failure.
Warranty	12-month warranty against material or workmanship defects (excludes misuse or over-torque).
