    User Manual

This manual is intended only for REMMOTORCYCLE switches. It contains important safety and handling information. Read these instructions carefully, especially the safety warnings, in their entirety before using the switch unit on your vehicle. Failure to follow this manual can result in vehicle damage, impaired road safety, or accidents.

Keep this manual for future use. If you transfer the switch unit to a third party, be sure to pass on this manual to them as well.

    Safety

    Proper use

REMMOTORCYCLE 2.0 switches for 22 mm motorcycle handlebars are used for indirect control of vehicle electrical circuit functions via an electronic control module, e.g., Axel Joost for indicator functions.

    Button specifications:

    250VAC 3A - IP45

    Switch specifications:

0.5A 50V DC; Resistance: Max 30mΩ, Insulation resistance: Min 100mΩ at 500V DC; Dielectric strength: AC 500V for 1 min

These switches are universal. Mounting options depend on compatibility with the handlebar and other electronic components.

    Safety instructions

This product poses a danger to children and people with reduced physical, sensory, or mental capabilities (e.g. partially disabled individuals or elderly people with restricted abilities) or those lacking experience or knowledge (e.g. older children).

Keep packaging film and small included parts out of reach of children. Risk of suffocation.

    Risk of short circuit

Electrical installation and mechanical assembly on the vehicle must be performed properly. Incorrect installation can cause short circuits or malfunctions in the onboard electrical system.

During installation, always follow the information in the vehicle manual or a maintenance and repair manual specific to your model, as well as the vehicle manufacturer’s specifications and the manual of the control module used.

Always disconnect the vehicle battery before working on its electrical system.

No pulling force should be exerted on the electrical cables, even with the handlebars fully turned. They must be routed securely to avoid being pinched, rubbed, or bent.

    Risk of injury

During installation, ensure the vehicle is completely stable and that your workspace is well lit.

    Installation

    Preparation

Securely lift your vehicle (using a paddock stand or the vehicle’s center stand) in a clean, well-lit area. Disconnect the battery before starting work (disconnect the negative cable).

    Installation

    1. Remove grips, throttle tube, and old switches.
    2. Loosen the two M3 screws of the switches. The two parts must remain connected.
    3. Slide the switches into place.
    4. You can tighten the M3 screws on the back of the switches.
    5. Connect the cables to the motorcycle wiring harness using the diagrams at the top of the page.

    Risk of short circuit!

Connect the switch unit according to the relevant wiring diagram and the wiring diagram of the electronic button control module. Strictly follow the instructions in the electronic control module installation guide. Assign positive and negative terminals to their corresponding controlled functions as shown in the diagrams.

Once cables are connected, reconnect the battery. You can now test the controlled electrical functions of the vehicle.

    Storage

Store any uninstalled switch unit in its original packaging in a closed room protected from weather and moisture.

    Cleaning and maintenance

Clean the switch unit with warm soapy water or motorcycle cleaner and a soft cloth. Never use cleaners that could attack aluminum.
