Installation & Safety Notice – Scrambler 400 X Front Fender

This aluminum front fender is designed exclusively for Triumph Scrambler 400 X (2023 >). Road-worthiness rules differ by region; review the table below before riding on public roads.

USA	FMVSS 108 (lamp visibility) – no direct fender spec	Fender must not contact tyre at full fork compression. Lamps/reflectors must remain visible. Prop 65 warning applies (see below).
EU / UK	UNECE Reg. 53 (machinery) + MOT/ITV visual checks	Ensure ≥ 20 mm tyre clearance with fork fully compressed (≈ 170 mm travel). No sharp edges; 1 mm edge radius provided—do not re-cut.
Australia / NZ	ADR 42/04 (general) – requires safe mounting	Verify tyre clearance; secure bolts with thread-locker. Must not create protrusions likely to cause injury.

Universal Fitting Instructions

Maintain > 20 mm clearance between tyre & fender at full compression.
Install with supplied M6 × 20 mm stainless bolts + Nyloc nuts; torque 9 N·m (80 lbf·in).
After installation, turn handlebars full lock left / right to confirm no contact with brake lines.
Re-check bolt torque after the first 80 km / 50 mi.
