Installation & Safety Notice — Front-Fork Guards
Triumph Scrambler 400 X | Black or Raw Aluminium
These aluminium guards shield the lower fork‐legs from stone-chips and trail debris. Fitment rules differ by region — check the table below before riding on public roads.

| EU & UK | UNECE R53 (lighting) & MOT visual inspection | Ensure guards do not cover the front reflector or create sharp edges (< 2.5 mm radius). MOT/ITV may fail if any part fouls the brake line. |
| Australia / NZ | ADR 42/04 (general safety) | No sharp projections permitted beyond 5 mm. Wheel must turn freely through full suspension travel after installation. |
Universal Fitting Instructions
- Clean fork-leg surface; slide guard upward until the recesses locate against the axle clamp.
- Secure with supplied M5 stainless screws & nyloc nuts; tighten to 5 N·m (44 lbf·in).
- Turn handlebars full left/right & compress fork to verify ≥ 3 mm clearance to brake hose and ABS wire.
- Re-check fastener torque after the first 100 km / 60 mi and every 5 000 km thereafter.
