Installation & Safety Notice — BAJA-Style LED Headlight
for Triumph Scrambler 400 X

This 7″ LED headlight is supplied for custom, off-road or display use. Road-use rules vary — see below.

USA	FMVSS 108 (DOT)	Unit is not DOT-marked; road use may be illegal. Aim cut-off ≤ 0.4° up-tilt, centre beam ≤ 2° right (LHD). Use supplied relay harness & 15 A fuse.
EU / UK	UNECE R113 / MOT	Not E-marked; require TÜV / MOT individual approval for road use. Colour temp ≤ 6000 K; horizontal cut-off must be sharp. Keep DRL & turn signals visible.
Australia / NZ	ADR 46/00	Non-ADR lamp = off-road only unless engineer signs off. Verify beam height & width; lamp must carry “E” or “ADR” for rego.

Universal Fitting Notes

Connect via the included relay harness (15 A fuse) directly to battery.
Colour temperature: 5700 K ±10 %; current draw 3.6 A @ 14 V.
Aim the cut-off line level; top of light beam should strike a wall 5 cm lower per 5 m distance.
Seal the back cap after wiring; IP67 when fully closed.
Re-check mounting bolts (M8) after first 100 km.
