    This 32 L aluminum top case adds secure storage while keeping weight low. Luggage rules differ by region — review the table before riding on public roads.

    USA FMVSS 108 (lamp visibility) + state width limits Case must not block tail/brake lamps or indicators when loaded.
    Keep total width < 915 mm (36″) to meet most state regs.
    Use supplied red side reflectors if lamps are partially obscured.
    EU / UK UNECE R48 & Directive 2003/97/EC mirrors Luggage must not hide rear lamp or plate from 20 m.
    Top-case + load may project ≤300 mm behind rear tyre centre.
    Fit the two red retro-reflectors supplied (R3 certified).
    Australia / NZ ADR 13/00 lighting & VSB 14 dimension limits Case width ≤ 600 mm from centre-line; lamps fully visible.
    Max rear overhang 150 mm beyond tail-lamp.
    Engineer sign-off required if total luggage mass > 15 kg.

    Universal Fitting Instructions

    • Mount base-plate to the standard rack or passenger-seat replacement rack using the supplied M6 stainless bolts + nyloc nuts; apply Loctite 243, torque 8 N·m (71 lbf·in).
    • Load limit: 5 kg / 11 lb inside the case + 2 kg on top. Exceeding this may crack the rack or alter handling.
    • Place the heaviest items nearest the hinge side; secure fragile items with foam.
    • After installation, compress rear suspension and check the case clears the rear mudguard by ≥ 30 mm.
    • Re-torque mounting hardware after the first 100 km / 60 mi, then every 1 000 km.

    Recommended Tyre / Suspension Adjustments

    • Increase rear preload by one step when the case is fully loaded.
    • Maintain recommended tyre pressures: 36 psi front / 42 psi rear (cold) when touring with luggage.
