    This accessory windscreen adds upper-body wind protection and adventure styling. Glazing and mounting rules vary worldwide — review the table below before riding on public roads.

    Polycarbonate meets ANSI Z26.1 class AS-6 — windscreen is not DOT-marked; legal in all states where aftermarket screens are permitted.
    With bars full lock L/R there must be > 20 mm gap to screen.
    Height must not obscure head-lamp beam cut-off.
    EU / UK UNECE R43 (safety glazing) & MOT visibility Screen is optical-grade PC, R43 Annex 14 exempt size ≤ 2000 cm².
    Must transmit ≥ 70 % light; do not tint.
    Ensure the top edge is below the rider’s normal eye line or rounded < 2.5 mm radius.
    Australia / NZ ADR 19/02 (visibility) & Vehicle Standards Bulletin 14 Screen must not interfere with forward view or contact controls.
    Use supplied stainless hardware & nyloc nuts; apply thread-locker.
    Check steering stops — 10 mm clearance minimum.

    Universal Fitting Instructions

    • Mount using OEM headlight brackets and supplied M6 stainless bolts; torque to 7 N·m (62 lbf·in).
    • Fit rubber grommets between screen and aluminium frame to avoid stress cracks.
    • After assembly, turn handlebars full lock both sides and compress fork — screen or frame must not touch cables, brake hoses or instruments.
    • Clean only with mild soap & water; solvents will craze polycarbonate.
    • Re-torque fasteners after first 100 km / 60 mi, then every service interval.

     

    ⚠️ Improper fitment, interference with controls or use of solvent cleaners can cause loss of control, visibility issues or screen failure. Install and use at your own risk.
