Previously, removing the catalytic converter involved cutting and welding the exhaust pipe, but with the introduction of the X-pipe, the process has become modular.

All you need to do is remove the entire catalytic converter and mid-pipe and mount the X-pipe in the original locations. This significantly reduces labor costs or the purchase of expensive exhaust systems.

You can retain the original silencer and hence, its homologation. It's also recommended to use a sealing gasket during installation to prevent air leaks, and it's advised to pair it with a high-flow air filter like KN or BMC for better results.
