    Žiga Petek, owner of the Slovenian garage Gas & Retro, transformed a standard Yamaha XJR1300 into a true road beast, nicknamed "Buffalo".

    This classic bike was radically modified for an aggressive look and enhanced performance.

    • Chassis: Inverted Showa fork, Ohlins shocks, Brembo brakes, ZZR1400 wheels.
    • Bodywork: Custom front fender, front fairing, custom seat, modified rear frame, aluminum side fairings.

    The result is a retro-futuristic, powerful, and aggressive motorcycle.

    Yamaha XJR1300 Cafe Racer KOJIRO: A Modern Masterpiece

     

    Dezmembrez Moto, a Romanian workshop, transformed a Yamaha into an ultra-modern cafe racer called "Kojirō".

    • Fork: A front fork from a Ducati Diavel
    • Rear Suspension: A swingarm from a Ducati Hypermotard and a Öhlins TTX rear shock

    • Brakes: High-performance Brembo braking system
    • Bodywork: Complete redesign with sleek, aggressive lines
    • Electronics: Modernized dashboard with Motogadget components

    The result is a stunning cafe racer that combines the power of the original engine with a high-performance chassis and avant-garde design. "Kojirō" is a true homage to Dezmembrez Moto’s craftsmanship.

     

     

    Yamaha XJR 1300 Cafe Racer by Unikat

     

    Tomek, a Polish enthusiast, entrusted his 1999 motorcycle to the Polish workshop Unikat.

    They transformed this bike into a muscular, elegant cafe racer.

     

    Key Points of the Transformation:

    • Engine Block: Complete overhaul. New pistons. Rebuilt cylinder heads. Dynojet Stage 3 jet kit for Mikuni carburetors.
    • Exhaust: A new 4-into-2 exhaust system with custom handmade mufflers was also installed.
    • Suspension: The complete front fork from a Yamaha YZF-R1 was grafted on, along with custom-made Bitubo shocks.
    • Wheels: 17-inch Kineo tubeless wheels fitted with ultra-grippy Pirelli Diablo Supercorsa SC V3 tires.
    • Bodywork: Modified rear frame, single-seat in Alcantara, modified fuel tank, and glossy black paint with touches of blue.
    • Electrical: Miniature lithium-ion battery, discreet LED indicators, Motogadget Motoscope speedometer, LED headlight, and tail light.
    • Handlebars: Sport clip-on handlebars from Womet-Tech with leather grips stitched in blue thread.

    The end result is a lighter, more powerful, and much more maneuverable XJR1300 than the original version.
