    Introduction to Harley Davidson Scrambler

The Harley-Davidson Scrambler embodies the meeting of American heritage and the spirit of adventure. With its retro design, it pays tribute to the scramblers of the 70s while offering the enjoyment of the V-twin engine.

Its powerful and torquey V-twin engine ensures sharp acceleration, while its robust chassis provides excellent stability on both roads and trails.

Infinitely customizable, Harleys can become unique Scramblers that reflect your personality.

Which Models Are Used to Create a Harley Davidson Scrambler?

Sportster: The Ideal Choice for a Scrambler

Sportsters are known for their maneuverability, relatively light weight, and characterful V-twin engine, making them perfect candidates for conversion into a Scrambler.

    Why Sportsters?

    • Light and maneuverable: Their manageable weight makes handling easier, making them more enjoyable to ride on rough terrain.
    • Versatile engine: The Sportster's V-twin provides a good balance of torque and power, ideal for mixed road/off-road use.
    • Wide range of parts: The Sportster community is very active, meaning you'll easily find a plethora of parts and accessories to customize your bike.
    • Solid base: The Sportster frame is robust and can handle the modifications needed to transform it into a Scrambler.

Key Modifications to Turn a Sportster into a Scrambler

    • Suspension: Replace the shocks with longer, adjustable models to improve comfort and grip on rough terrain.
    • Wheels and tires: Install spoked wheels with knobby tires for better traction.
    • Handlebars: Choose wide, high handlebars for a more upright and comfortable riding position.
    • Exhaust: Install a short, sporty exhaust for a more aggressive look and a richer sound.
    • Fenders: Shorten the front and rear fenders for a cleaner look.
    • Seat: Opt for a solo seat or flat seat for increased comfort when standing.
    • Engine protection: Install engine guards to prevent damage in the event of a fall.
